OT. need adobe help
I have adobe 8. I have no problems with docs. But when I try to click on a pic in my pictures, a notice comes up saying I'm missing my "adobeQT.dll" I have looked on the adobe website but can't see anything like that. Am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing? Anyone heard of this? TIA

Sounds like when you downloaded adobe8 you also downloaded the free version of photoshop and it set as your default viewer. To test this choose the picture to open, right click with your mouse, choose the open option and a few choices will appear. Choose Microsoft picture and fax viewer. If it works, then you can remove photoshop by going to your control panel, ad/remove programs and uninstall photoshop.

Well, most of what I learned, I learned because I have had to deal with it on my computers at one time or another. You will learn with use .......

Re: glennii have trouble opening my...
It could be the email account itself that blocks it somehow from opening. Try downloading and saving the .pdf file to your desktop, then open it without any browsers open. Adobe has had some security issues when it is used from within a browser, so it is saver to open it in stand alone mode ......
