Payment issues with 1 Touch Closings

Have not received payment....60 days since signing. I saw msg #181948 posted in March asking about any payment issues with them. After 30 + days I re-faxed invoice, called and was told check was in the mail and last week they told me check would be cut and sent that day. Still waiting!!!!!!

Join the club.
You may need to pursue this aggresively.
They still owe me a $25 bad check fee as well, and it took them nearly 6 months and the threat of bad check litigation to pay up.
Check your PM for the owner's name & info.

Hello,
I want to apologize for your delay in payment and want to make you aware there have been managerial changes in our Billing Department as well as changes in ownership to eliminate the unfortunate late payments that have been made in the past.

Same boat, going on 60 days. I was told checks for March go out this week. If there is no check next week a certified letter goes out with additional charges and payment due by or thieft of service charges begin and my lawyer deals with them.

Getting delays from even my best clients now lately

I think since refi's have slowed and TC's are doing what it takes to survie now delayed payments will be the norm for awhile and if you are waiting on a SS to pay ...OMG 45 days will become 60 and the ones that take longer may go under unless they are a lowballer.

Re: Getting delays from even my best clients now lately

The last month I have had more calls from title companies than ever before. Hopefully since this gig is slowing down they will cut the SS and find us directly. That would be nice.

Turned down a call from them today -- thanks for post

I was able to avoid a potential non-payment situation & accept a good assignment from a great company!

Hello,
I want to apologize for the delay of your receipt in payment. Please note there have been managerial changes in our Billing Department and ownership changes in the company to eliminate the unfortunate payment delays that our company has provided in the past. I want to assure you payment delays are no longer a trait of our company.

I have one from 1-Touch that is almost at 45 days. I also have one from ATS Document Service that is just past 45 days. I haven't had a chance to contact them yet because I've been busy battling with US Title in Cary, NC, for payment for closings from January and February! If anyone is owed $$ from US Title, please PM me!

we did a closing for 1 Touch the early part of December, after 45 days I called them and they gave me the cut and sent line. I waited 10 days and gave them another call and they gave me the same cut and sent line, at which time I told them that was said to me 10 days ago. Anyway after several more calls I finally rec'd a check on Feb 15th and the best part is that it was dated Jan 21!!!! Sounds like a cast flow problem!!!!

ATS Document Services is very good and pays when agreed

I have worked for them for years, wonderful to work with, and they always pay when they say they will. I've forgotten their schedule now, but it's something like closings done in the first half of the month will be paid the 15th of the following month and closings done in the second half of the month will be paid on the 1st of the the 2nd month following, something like that. It ends up being 45 to 60 days to payment, but the check always arrives when they say it will.
