This club has a very large membership

Join the ranks. That's why this board is so invaluable, because anyone who reads this more than one week would know that this is one of the companies that when you hear their name you want to ran and far and fast as you can in the opposite directionl. Use the orange search button at the bottom and put in SOX. You will have days worth of reading, but some people have posted the means they've gone to to try and get their payment. Good luck.

Re: This club has a very large membership

I was introduced to this board by someone that told me that same thing. That is how I got here. Strange how this company stays in business though, when they steal from so many people. Why arent we all standing together to stop them?????

Is there a listing of late payers in this website that one can look at from time to time. If not there should be! =}

Very Elementary, Mr. Watson

Because the NNA is constantly churning out brand new NSA's that don't know any better. SOX finds them, sends them work for a month and when they don't get their pay, the new NSA's stop taking their calls and they move on the next batch. They are virtually guaranteed that as long as the NNA (and others) continue to promote this as easy, quick money, there will always be a new crop to harvest from. And while they don't get paid, they get experience!

I'm not saying that this a business model that I would choose, but so far it's working for them.

This is blatent deception and theft. This is very illegal and if we ALL stood together we could stop this from occuring. Dont you think?

Don't be furious--get paid! File a BBB complaint as that seems to be the only way to 'invoice properly' (their standard excuse as to why you weren't paid--you didn't invoice them correctly).
Go here: http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/General/Home.aspx
and file away~~

Does anyone include an Independent Contractor invoice in

the signing package? Sox doesn't want the borrowers contacted by the signing agent.

Re: Mary - Check your private messages.

I resorted to being obnoxious. This is how I finally received my pay. I would call and when I was asked how may I help you, I would say I would like to get paid. I was sent over to accounts payable. No one would answer, I would get a recording. I would hung up and call again. After about 5 times the guy must have got tired of it and I finally was able to speak to someone in accts. payable. She would lie to me, checks in the mail kind of thing. I would wait a week to see if it really was. This happened every week for about 6 weeks and I finally received a check.

My suggestion for everyone missing payments from SOX is to file your claim in Small Claims Court. This must be done in the county where SOX does business. It is very simple and involves a small fee which SOX must pay. The last thing SOX wants is to have court cases against them. You can also add any travel costs if you do have to appear in court. However, I guarantee SOX will have payment at your door immediately once a suit has been filed. It is a guaranteed win for the notary, that is why SOX pays immediately once they are served with papers.
