Yes!! First Choice Signing Service out of Fairfield is guilty of this! I've decided never to do a signing for them again.

It's happening more and more even with title companies.

Ugh!! I have been having major problems! So far I have 4 from the beginning February that haven't paid and are non-responsive to emails/calls. Grrrrr...seems to be happening more and more!

Have you tried calling the folks who hired them?
45-60 days should be ample time for anyone to balance the books and pay the subs. May I suggest that you call the title company that hired them and tell them that their subs are not following through on the deal.

Saw this starting to happen about 3 months ago. Companies that normally pay 30 were starting to pay at 45, 45ers were going to 60 and so on and so forth. IMO, the pinch is starting at the top and trickling down. Lots of action in the real estate biz these days. You can watch it on the evening news now. Signing Services are getting hit and even the good ones are. A couple I love working for are even slacking just a bit, which is very unusual for them. Its going to be a bumpy ride, so hang on. Plan accordingly and market, market, and market some more.
