Swiftview question
Is there any way to reprint individual pages within the Swiftview reader? It seems like it's all or nothing.

1. Choose print using windows driver instead of raw pcl, this will allow you to select single page. OR 2. Use cutepdf, primopdf or winpdf to convert docs to a pdf file.

Re: Thanx Andy!!
Great info. I didnt know about #2. Does this help with printing faster? My docs seem to print pretty slow with Swiftview.

Can that be done within Swiftview? The problem is that they've configured their website so that you can't right-click and save the file - they use a javascript function to open a pop-up window and force you into the Swiftview Reader.
I've only used Swiftview a couple of times so I'm not familiar with it. The signing was canceled for tonight and rescheduled for Saturday; I guess I've got some time to play around with it and figure out a solution.

I dislike SwiftView because you can't print just one page
Once in a great while my printer will mess up and stop while printing a package. With some software like Acrobat, I just check where the last good page is and start over from there. Or a page might be messed up and need reprinting. Or the toner runs out partway through the print job. With SwiftView, you're stuck because it prints the entire package or nothing. Wasted toner and paper printing stuff you don't need to reprint. SwiftView is not one of my favorite edocs software packages.

Could you be using an old version?
The Swiftview I have does allow printing selected pages (one or more).

Re: I meant to reply to your post. Maybe you need to..
Version is 7.1.0, so I guess that's my problem. The only free version on the Swiftview site is 7.1.3, so I doubt that will help.

Re: I meant to reply to your post. Maybe you need to..
It has been my experience that if you can see the docs on your computer screen then you can use the PDF printer converter (ie. cutepdf, primopdf or winpdf, etc) OR use windows print driver for single page selection/print.
Swiftview, Elynx and other encrypted softwares are used in the manner that they act as a layer of protection to the actual docs which requires only their reader to unlock the encryption. The only time anything shoot straight to the printer is when you can not see the docs on screen.

Thanks - I'll try printing to primopdf and see if that helps. Right now I'm waiting for them to redo the docs because the signing was rescheduled.

PCL Reader Freeware
A freeware PCL Reader is not available at www.pclreader.com. It previews mortgage closing documents sent in HP PCL formats and allows you to print them to PCL printers. It can also convert PCL into PDF format or print PCL to Windows only, ink jet or other types of printers that are incompatible with the PCL being sent to you for signatures. The commerical version of PCLReader is called PCLWorks and is located at: www.pclworks.com.
