Unsubscribing from unwanted newsletters!

Every month I unsubscribe from certain newsletters, and the following month they are back in my mailbox. This is tiring. Do these notary sites think their product is so good that I need to get it no matter what? Really, if I wanted the newsletter, I'd sign up. I already get more than I have time to read.

I think you'll have better luck going to the site and contacting direct. Or, just have it listed as junk mail to delete. I think hitting "unsubscribe" merely confirms that your e-mail address is valid ... probably only fuels the fires. Grrr ....

Watch out for surveys too

I joined Vindale Research a couple of months ago, and it looked like a good way to make a little gas money. You pay a nominal fee for an introductory membership with some of their companies with your C/C. You should then cancel the account, like I did.
The problem is that they do not recognize the cancellation and continue to charge your card monthly. It is a mess I am trying to clean up, and am told that I may have to close my bank account, C/C accounts to really get rid of them.
