They moved from California to Nevada and changed their name to ACME. they scammed some more people and now are not returning calls etc, etc, etc.

I not sure I would feel comfortable with accepting a job with Company called "What's up Doc's". Sounds too shady to me. Just my opinion.

Ya know, you may have a valid point about that name - LOL

I don't care what their name is, I only care how they pay. I worked for them sometime back and they seemed ok. I will check the other name list in the replies. Are you sure they have moved to NV? I still have their address as being in Roseville, CA.

Look up both What's up Docs and ACME and you will find volumes.

How do you tie What's Up Docs" with Acme? Acme was listed in Lake Elisnore, CA before they moved to NV. I did look up What's Up Docs and found old stuff only.

I went back and looked at my 2005 records and found 2 signings for them and they were both paid in less than 30 days. I moved in 2006 and now have the first signing for them at my new location.

Re: What's Up Docs--What's up Doc owes me

If this is What's Up Doc . . not Doc's (plural may be okay co.) they will rip you off and have ripped off tons of people. They did in fact change their names to Acme sometime ago started out okay and slowly stopped paying notaries. They paid me for awhile but when times got tough they ripped me off for 150.00. It has been a couple of years now . . I just wrote it off on my taxes. The company is owned by Brian and Stacey Teeter. They tried to say they were only some sort of management but that's not true . . long story short is that they may pay you for awhile but when times get tough for them they won't have any problem ripping you off and changing their company name. This happened to a lot of people and at one time you could find a multitude of "bad" info about them on this site and other sites. They are old news now . . maybe trying a comeback.

One thing I must add is that I think there was another company out there that used the plural and they "are" as far as I know another company of which I have never worked for so cannot comment on.

This is my opinion only however, if this is truly the old "What's Up Doc," they are a rip off and they most certainly ripped me off!

Good Luck . .
