Yikes! Embarrassing moment..

Arrived at the closing and lined up in the yard was all sorts of toys, bikes & other items. The Mr. & Mrs. were standing outside talking to a man by all of this stuff.
I walk up, introduce myself, and say, "Oh, are you having a yard sale?" Both borrowers looked at me funny, and she stated, "No..this is just our stuff, but if you want to buy any of it,we'll sell it".
The man standing with them was the loan officer. Smile

At a resturant, two women are sitting side by side each other in a booth and being very cozy with one another. The waitress walks over to them and says, "Are you two sisters?" (Thank goodness that was NOT my embarrassing moment!).

mine was a kitchen table when I asked if we could turn on a light. Yep, it was on, all 25 watts of it!

Since we're sharing...Knocked on front door- a young man (I guessed he was 17 or 18) opened the door. I asked "Are your parents home?" He just kind of looked at me and invited me in- I knew as soon as the words were out of my mouth that he was the borrower (actually 23 yrs. old). (docs went to him so I didn't have a chance to peek at his age on the 1003). I think my face was red throughout the signing.

To some of us "oldies" anything under 30 is young. When my father in law was in the hospital I swear the doctor was 12.

The first time I realized I was getting old was when I saw a cop walking down the sidewalk and he looked to be about 13. Frown

Another sign is

when you have to be careful to not refer to the policeman as "son" instead of "sir"!!

After hearing from "Mrs" that she really was happy about having an extra bedroom that was going to be added. I said "I bet you are especially with the baby coming. When are you due?" To that statement, "Mrs" replied "What? I'm not pregnant!"
However, she then said she WAS trying to lose the excess weight she gained when she had the baby 4 months earlier. I think I learned a lesson that day.
