**BEWARE**Accurate Signing Services - Michael LasCano

Well, apparently I should have done my homework better before accepting a job from M.L. and Accurate Signing Services in Beaverton, Oregon. It has now been 6 weeks and I have not received payment. I do have a working phone number for him, as well as an e-mail where he states he is going to pay me as soon as I re-fax my invoice. I called and left him a message telling him that I am sending him a demand letter for payment and if I don't receive payment within 2 weeks, I am going to the Better Business Bureau and report him and his company. I don't know if it will work, but I have to try something. It really ticks me off that companies think they can get away with not paying! Thankfully most of them are prompt and honest.

Trust me he doesn't care. He is as bad a SOX. I'm sorry that you didn't check before working for him. I can't believe the Title Company is still working with him. I called them and they said "we do get a lot of calls saying he hasn't paid the notary".
He is a Major MOMO JACKBAG!!!

I have never heard of this guy so this is a general comment. If he's already late, why would you give 2 more weeks - what's wrong with 3 days and then proceeding.

Good question. I don't know, this is the first I have had to deal with this. I detest conflict but it really pisses me off to get taken advantage of. I haven't put the letter in the mailbox yet, maybe I will change it to say three days. I am getting the feeling that it won't make a bit of difference but I suppose it is worth a try.

Probably many of you haven't heard of him because he is in Oregon and I believe only really deals locally.

If he is local to you, why not pay him a personal visit and stand there till he gives you your check? I sure would.

That is a REALLY good idea. He is 2 1/2 hours away, but it would be worth it just on the principle alone. I think I just may do that! Duhh, don't know why I didn't think of it myself. Smile Thanks PA.

I'll email you my confirmation from him and maybe you could collect for me? It's only been 18months. LOL

Absolutely. my email is [e-mail address] When I go up to Portland I will try to put on the pressure for both of us. I can't guarantee that he will mail you a check, but it is my intention to sit in his office until I get paid. What a scumbag!
