had a call from LIA and.....

they offered me an e-doc closing in my area....[80 miles round trip].....and "our standard fee for this type of closing is $75 with a few fax backs]....my answer was "my standard fee for this type of closing w/e-docs and fax backs will be $175".......ooooh.....i'll have to see if i can get that approved.......of course no call back but i am sure they found some one as i am in the area that is the seat of state govt and notaries are a dime a dozen and just as stupid as to loan closings...by the way i don't think i would have accepted it if she had come back with an ok of the fee based on reports under the orange button.........

I got a call from them on Wednesday and told them the only way I would complete a closing for them would be if they met my fee and prepaid via paypal. We didn't even get to discuss fees.

If someone were to accept such closings at that price, they won't be around long enough to truly hurt your business.

What nerve they have to offer such a deal with all the notaries that are still un-paid.
I got a call today from Lori questioning why I left such a negative comment here about them earlier this week....

Go figure! She said my check from a 2/23 signing went out Tuesday... Not here yet.

I finally got my check from a signing I did on 2/27 on 4/24. I emailed and called and no one ever responded. After reading all of the bad press on this company, I am surprised I actually got paid.

How to get paid by lia

I had the same situation. I sent an email requesting a response by the end of the day and a payment by the end of the week, or the title and escrow companies would be called. Worked like a charm. I had a check in hand on Friday. Send an email to Ed @ [e-mail address]. Hope this helps.
