Anyone heard from NASCO (LandAmerica) lately?

Have they finally fallen victim to the market? They've been consistently giving me as much work as ever throughout the market slide, but suddenly I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks. Anything going on over there that we should know about?

They wanted me to do a CountryWide Full Spectrum today for $95. Email and 50+ fax back.

I heard from them last week.It seems as though they are now ignoring the fee schedule you set up with them. They offered $25.00 less for a job.E-docs and their faxbacks. Even what used to be good companies are now taking the low road, with the usual we aren't getting as much work, so we can't pay you as much.......

Yes .. Landam is offering 60 for Citibank HELOC's (over 55 pages not counting bwrs copies). Crazy . . you know that NASCO is now owned by Landam. Today is the first day however, that I haven't heard a peep from them nor anyone else for that matter. They just lowered their fees drastically and keep saying that the pkgs are only 30 pgs. Come to find out (after accepting them) they are over 50 pgs eac.h . .

Chicken little . . the sky is falling!!

That's correct, 55+ pages. not to mention they can't send you 1 attachment, it's more like 8 or 9. 3 D.O.T.'s they need to be executed, 8 or 9 pages to fax back.

They called me a week ago, they wanted me to do an e-doc for $75.00. Still waiting for their "I'll get back to you" for approval. Good thing I'm not holding my breath.

Re: For a while I was doing 2-4 Citi Bank Helocs a week for

them. I haven't heard from them since July. Several times I have tried calling the scheduler who mainly called me to find out what was going on, all I get is her voice mail, very strange

Some snippy little twerp from LandAm called me last week and offered $85 for a Countrywide refi with edocs and faxbacks. I said no, it'll be $125, minimum. She offered to go up to $95 and got really mad because I wouldn't take it. After all, she came up $10!! I said, that's nice, but I'm not coming down $30. She got real snippy, said Have a Nice Day! and hung up on me.

Wow, I didn't know they did anything besides Citibank HELOC's, I don't think ever done anything else for them.

But good to know they're still around. I've always found their loans to be easy money, I just only accept the ones that I can be done with within an hour, including travel time. No, they're not the greatest paying company, but they do pay quickly and consistently and it's a nice little cash flow for minimal work.

Apparantly that snippy little twerp called me too. She harrassed me in the past, over the fee I wanted, and then today harrasssed me because I said no, I would not travel to a place that is 3 hours one way. She was such a b****h, that I called to report her bad behavior.

Here in AZ it has been quiet then this week I got a call. They refuse to pay more that $95 w/e-docs, fax backs and all.....this week it picked up. Struggling to get the fees I used to get.

I had one of their $95 "30 page" Countrywide Full Spectrum signings tonight that didn't sign because they had the wife's maiden name on everthing so they have to do a new deed and a new set of docs. I'm wondering if I'm going to get a trip fee out of it. Anybody know how they are about paying trip fees? I know lately its been really hard just getting a decent fee. I wouldn't even have agreed to do this one tonight because it's outside my normal travel area, but it's been a slow week.... thanks! Dawn
