Before I pitch...

my HP3050 out of the window, can anyone tell me why it runs soooooooo slow on certain programs. It's supposed to print at least 20 pages a minute and it is printing 4 pages a minute. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Have you consulted HP and the title companies that send you these docs? THey may have the info you need.

I have the same printer,

It's not that you are doing anything wrong, it's the way some companies send their docs. There are ways to speed it up, but i'm not tech savvy enough to explain it. Something to do with the DPI settings. Maybe one of the other tech guys can assist you.

install pcl5e driver

set print quality to 300 dpi, if possible as I don't have this printer.
On the advanced tab of the print dialog set print as image.
Thia should help.

Try opening pkg with Irfanview

free d/l at www.irfanview.com (Thank Paul!)

copy/save file to desktop and then open with irfanview - has worked for me every time, maybe you'll be just as lucky?
