Beware of Company:Southeastern Settlements in SC

This gentleman called me and asked me to perform this closing in April, 2007. The borrowers were hesitant about doing this loan and I had to handle this closing very gently. Borrowers signed and were very happy to meet me. Rick Edmond has yet to pay me and this is August. I have reported him to the BBB. Does anyone have any other suggestions in getting my money? I have listed the name of the company and address below. Beware notaries, beware of:

Vince, I am in the exact same boat as you are. Except with my job for Southeastern Settlements in April 2007, the borrower refused to sign the docs and I had agreed ahead of time to a $50 trip fee. I am still trying to collect that trip fee!!! I have called, e-mailed, and faxed Rick Edmond numerous times, never with a response. I filed a BBB complaint, which he did not respond to. I called the TC, who said they no longer use his company and they couldn't help me. I have called and actually spoken to Rick four or five times, each time with an acknowledgment that he owes me money and a promise that he will write my check that day! It never materializes! I know he also owes a FL notary for a couple of jobs. Last week I faxed the lender a letter of complaint against SE Settlements and the loan officer.
Please PM me and let's put our heads together to see what we can do to get paid. I know I'm only owed $50 - it's now the principal of the matter that is driving me!
