Borrowers Comments:)

Just Had to post thisSmile Five out of my last ten signing appointments I have had the borrower actually mention (with relief) Thank god you don't smell or look like our last Notary!!!

Apparently they had been exposed to body odor, wrinkled clothing, dirty fingernails, bad teeth, and overall sloppy notaries for previous appointments! And they were surpeised that their copies of the documents were legible!!!!

Aren't the ss ,loan officer or escrow officers concerned with the representation of their companies to the Borrower?

Nope....Only how much they can cheat out of the borrowers counts.

I would say yes and no. Yes, they want us professional in looks and attitude but the other side is they want the loan closed for their commissions.

Well most of the hiring entities have no idea what we look like unless they personally know us or we have a photo online. I only work for a handful of companies in my own state, so how would the out of state companies know? Hopefully many of them do a survey with their borrowers afterwards to find out what kind of a person they sent out to a closing! I'll bet a great number of us sound good on the phone but unfortunately you can't detect body odor or dirty fingernails from a voice.

I guess it would be tooooo much to ass ume the notary would take pride in their reputation?Smile or be concerned with the opinion of the borrower?

I'd bet the prices notaries charge is a good indicator!

On $50 its hard to run around in Anne Fontaine blouses, Armani suitss, Gucci shoes and hand bags and smelling like the latest offerings from Sephora!

I have been told on numerous occasions that "the other Notary", was very late, and did not call, or did not show at all, or they brought along their child, or they came dressed for feeding the chickens...
