Bum Bum Bum annada 1 bits the dust....

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

FIRST MAGNUS IS NO LONGER FUNDING ANY MORTGAGE LOANS

In light of the collapse of the secondary mortgage market, First Magnus will not fund any future mortgage loans, and is no longer accepting any mortgage loan applications or funding any mortgage loans previously originated and not yet funded. We explored all options before taking this action but were left with no viable alternative.

First Magnus values the relationships we have formed with all of our broker partners over the years and appreciate the trust you have shown in us. We are saddened that we will no longer have the opportunity to work with you.

You made me smile!

When I tried to read this I couldn't get it until I sang it! That brought back such good memories of high school. Sent 2 off today to opening day at HS, one freshman, one senior.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! =)

Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

Re:1 bits the dust....or as weird al would put it...

Riding in the bus down the boulevard
And the place was pretty packed (Yeah!)
Couldn't find a seat so I had to stand
With the perverts in the back
It was smelling like a locker room
There was junk all over the floor
We're already packed in like sardines
But we're stopping to pick up more, look out

(Chorus)
Another one rides the bus
Another one rides the bus
Another comes on and another comes on
Another one rides the bus
Hey, who's gonna sit by you
Another one rides the bus

There's a suitcase poking me in the ribs
There's an elbow in my ear
There's a smelly old bum standing next to me
Hasn't showered in a year
I think I'm missing a contact lens
I think my wallet's gone
And I think this bus is stopping again
To let a couple more freaks get on look out

(Chorus)

cool sound effects

Another one rides the bus

Another one rides the bus ow
Another one rides the bus hey hey
Another one rides the bus hey-ey-ey-ey ey ey eyyyyyy

The window doesn't open and the fan is broke
And my face is turning blue (Yeah)
I haven't been in a crowd like this
Since I went to see the Who
Well I should've got off a couple miles ago
But I couldn't get to the door
There isn't any room for me to breathe
And now we're gonna pick up more yeaaah

(Chorus)

Re: First Magnus bit the dust...I had a closing this morning

for them, got a call from the title company to shred the docs, they were out of business. The borrower is going to re-apply with another lender and go from there.

So sad.

Re: First Magnus bit the dust...I had a closing this morning

First Magnus Financial Corp., a mortgage lender that is one of Tucson's only locally based national firms and one of the area's major employers, is no longer writing loans as of this morning.

It's unclear what the action means to customers who have mortgages pending with the company, which employs hundreds locally. It is the latest example of woes in the nation's mortgage industry, which are blamed on delinquencies and other problems in the subprime lending market.

An e-mail Wednesday evening told branch managers of Great Southwest Mortgage, the retail arm of First Magnus, that the parent company was no longer funding loans. First Magnus ranked 61st in the latest Star 200 survey of the biggest employers of Southern Arizona, reporting 800 full-time-equivalent local employees.

"We will not be funding loans tomorrow," wrote Erik Lutz, the president and founder of Great Southwest.

A manager with the company, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he was told Wednesday evening that First Magnus was closing. However, he said Great Southwest hopes to stay in
business by brokering loans elsewhere.
