Good Morning...

haven't read much lately. Does anyone know of a master list of companies that have shut their doors or going down? If not we should start one immediately. I am already nervous about getting paid for a CW I did. I hear they shut down jumbos now and are filing bankruptcy?

I hate to take something in a futile attempt to get a fee from someone whom won't be there tomorrow. I've got a few title appointments on Monday and a wee bit nervous.

Have you seen this? It was e-mailed thru a TC. I have the doc if anybody needs it...e-mail me, that's e-mail me and I'll send it later today [e-mail address] --I know, it's stupid but they didn't have the names I wanted so, being in a hurry to leave town, I told them just give me anything and I'll add another box for biz later.


Countrywide Home Loans is presenting, a new document, Important Acknowledgment Concerning Your Loan (1E040-US), prints with the closing instructions and requires the signature of all borrowers to fund the loan.

This new document is effective for loans closed with documents drawn on and after August 20, 2007. Please ensure that the attached document is included in all loan packages, EXCEPT for any Fixed Second loans. If you are missing the form please refer to the first page of the Closing Instructions to identify the loan type and verify if the form is needed.

Please ensure this document is completed by all necessary parties involved with the transaction to not cause a delay in funding.

does that mean we now have to go through all 23 pages (24 now) of the closing instructions with the borrower because a signature is now required on that?

I have no idea if it will be in each package as it is sent out. It sounded like we're expected to print out copies of the form to carry with us and add to any Countrywide packages we do if it isn't already there.
