HA-HA...SOX PAID ME

Sox paid me on time...so those who insulted me by calling me 'stupid' (and you know who you are) should eat your words. I got ripped apart pretty good here on the board and so did SOX, I might add. I gave them a chance and they came through. I made the mistake of listening to deadbeats on this board. I won't again. Now, I really wonder about the truthfulness of some of the posts on this board criticizing Signing Services. Sure, I don't like some of the things they do, Like take more than 30 days to pay or require lots of faxbacks (of which I turn down). I particularly don't like the way some of them try to get you to lower your fees. But, as I said before, I have never been cheated out of my fee by any SS. Have a good weekend, everyone.

It COULD happen, but I happen to think it was a fluke. There have been too many people, (also their bbb) who have gotten screwed by SOX. I was almost one. Good for you, but don't think ALL those people were lying.

It's going to take a lot more than one report of being "paid on time" (after an earlier message from the same person complaining about waiting over 60 days for payment) to convince anyone that anything has changed with this particular company. We're still seeing new people posting messages warning us about how bad SOX is; if I started to see them posting positive messages instead, I'd agree that they may be taking a turn for the better. I think there's a better chance of seeing those flying monkeys...

No Cassie, I don't think all those that posted negatively about SOX was lying. Just like I did when I first posted. I though I was going to get stiffed because I had read the negative stuff on here, so I jumped the gun and posted that I thought I was going to get stiffed. Turns out I didn't. That's what I think is happening with some of the others. Maybe they are jumping the gun like I did and assuming they will get stiffed because it takes several months to get paid. Maybe SOX has changed for the better. I believe a company can change for the better. All I know is I got paid when they told me I would. It took almost 2 months. Good evening!

Not sure what's up with this message, but if we go into the Orange Button Wayback Machine and look at #199214, we find you blasting another SS for slow pay - yet here you are now, questioning whether anyone should believe complaints about signing services...

What happened - did SOX agree to pay if you would grovel?

They have a well-known reputation for no pay/slow pay - nobody is making this stuff up, the facts are what they are. You yourself waited over 60 days for payment - why are you now saying that they paid you "on time"??

I have never had a problem with SOX paying me for any work either. They tell you how long it takes in advance so I an not surprised getting paid at 45 to 50 days out.

some notaries do get paid, they couldn't have stayed in business all these years if they never paid anyone. DD/OR you are one of the lucky few and I wouldn't press your luck and let these people get into you for much.

I seem to recall awhile back someone who posted under the handle " SanDiegoCA--AKA, SSE Mobile Notary Service, who would always defend SOX whenever someone bashed them. He claimed he always got paid and that if everyone knew how to invoice them like he did they would get paid also. Funny how he has not posted in some time now defending SOX. Think they got into him for a large amount then screwed him?

Harry actually controls this board and I am sure that he is of the same opinion to stay away from people that do not pay and people that call his members deadbeats. If I were a deadbeat, I wouldn't pay my bills and would do closings cheap, and that is not me.

11 years in business, never had anyone tell me what my schedule is going to be and checks are made payable to me. I like the way things are.

What makes you any better than me. I was stiffed over a year ago and you got paid and I didn't. That really ticks me off!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to continue to tell people on this board to stay away from them so you will still be seeing me, along with others that have been stiffed, get use to it.

Richard, sorry I missed your answer. Honestly, I did not get your point. I would not buy it if were looking an excuse for people who do not pay and accuse others who did not get paid. I did 1 closing for SOX2 years ago and before I found this board. They paid me ontime also. Would I ever work for them again? No! Why? Because I don't want to help support a company that stiffs my fellow notaries.
