Just got a call from Precision Closing
Southern CA to do a 1st and 2nd for $40 that is 30 miles away round trip. I told them my fee for edocs XXX and they asked for my o/n fee XXX. I guess some desperate person in my neighborhood will take it. What a joke.

Are you sure about that fee, that's nuts. You should call them back and verify. Precision should be vilified and crucified for even offering that fee.

They get $200 at close of escrow then they don't want to pay you $40.

Re: Used to be a $50 company, have recently dropped
to $40 requests. Unfortunately, they do pay timely & their packages are small & easy with well-prepared borrowers that almost never result in a no-sign or recission. They do have minimal fax-backs. They would pay more on occasion & have met my fee overall. However, I can't/won't do $40 for anyone, even if it's next door!

I am getting the exact same Ridiculous Low-Ball calls here lately as well. They expect us to be Experienced. Carry E/O Insurance, we're bonded, we pay our Notary fees & membership, and they offer us such low amounts. I have turned down the last (3) Calls I got, because the fees offered were nearly 50% less than what I usually get.. (one from Precision today!) I wonder about these companies.. do these employees have Background Checks like we do? Or are these just phone banks with people making tons of phone calls all day? I wish more Title Companies and Lenders would call us Agents directly. Then they would get more value for the borrower's money.
