Leer/Lear Signing ?

Any info on this company? Used search and found nothing. Was called for a closing but told them I could do it at a later time and they may or may not call back. I would like to find out info about the company regardless....

Never heard of them, but make sure it isn't LIA Signings. The last closing I completed for them took 90 days for payment!

Thanks - I cannot find anything using a search anywhere. I also googled/reverse lookup their phone # and came up empty handed

Ahh it was LIA - I went to their website and the phone # matches. Thanks for the heads up

If you are a patient person they do pay. Just have to have lots of patience waiting on your payment.

LIA Signing ?

BAD news, IMO. I did a couple for them last year, wasn't happy with their turnaround time on payment.

Re: LIA Signing ?

First few assignments took around 45 days to get paid, I can handle that. Next two or three, 60 days or so, getting a little frustrated. Last couple of closings, 80+ days to get paid. They are now on my NO NO List. Seems to be getting worse and worse. Take at your own risk! Good Luck!

Re: LIA Signing ?

A fellow notary in Pennsylvania is past the 60 day mark and NO one will return her email or calls.

Re: LIA Signing ?

I got a call today and the guy ask if I would do a closing. I told him that the last time I worked with them it took over 60 days to get paid. He replies, "Is that too long for you?". I should have ask him, "Do you wait to get paid every 60 days?". Anyway, I turned the closing down.

Re: LIA Signing ?

I'm at day 62 with them. Been told several times by all three people (ED, Crystal & Migeal) that my check went out on 8/28. They even told me the check #. It hasn't found Maine yet.
I filed with the BBB. Then thought I should call the Sec of State in WI. They were very interested in hearing about my problem with this deadbeat company.
