Re: Attention all independent Notary loan signing agents

Please tell us, will you pay within 30 days? Will you offer more than $50?
Will you give us your home number and address so if we don't get paid, we can call you there?
If you will, sign me up!!!

I am only kidding but it is something we all would love to know and wouldn't really say.

Advertising

Do not advertise your own products or services without prior approval. Most advertisements are not relevant to most users and are therefore wasted space.

Do not advertise competing websites, directly or indirectly, without prior approval. We spend thousands of dollars per month to advertise our service for your benefit. We would rather not be paying to advertise for the benefit of our competitors. This includes sites like 123 and goMobile.

The county I live in is about 5 miles long and 40 miles wide....you do have big ones out there. The other 2 counties around me aren't much bigger.

Since you brought it up... this later statement is funny to me (no disrespect to Harry) since I refer EVERY person that I speak with at 123 to this website and Jeremy knows that I do this and hardly disapproves or minds...and god know we spend a small fortune on advertising at 123 as well....

Re: Attention all independent Notary loan signing agents

Hi Loretta, What is your base pay. Yes we will pay on the 15th and 30th. Providing we've received payment, you will. My webiste is still needing work, but the registration is there. My son in law got called to fight for our country to serve in IRAQ. So he is on his way there. Once he gets there and get his gear, he will be able to work on the website and fix it. According to the NNA the average fee is $65.00 . We won't try and under cut you. I won't work for certain co that only pay $50.00, $40.00. I think we all know who they are. I've been doing Notaries for 13 years, and learned the hard way what co to stary away. As a working Certified loan signing co, There is certain co out there I'm struggling to collect earned fees for signings that I completed. I'm tired of being treated unfairly and ifyou sign up with us you will not see that. All I ask is for you to do a good job and to be professional. Which I['m sure we all are. . We will be very fair with your fee. I can't tell you what it will be, because it depends on what they are willing to pay us for a job. We promise to get our name out there and well publised to get us all more work. My home phone is on the webiste. I ran from home and you can reach us 24-7. My home/fax phone is 541-862-2350 and my cell is 541-218.5896.

spell check is a woman's best friend (or it should be)
And we don't "do notaries", well, my husband is one, so I guess I "do him" every now and then.....

so so sorry, had to do it.

Re: Attention all independent Notary loan signing agents

I hope you are not offerning the NNA recommended fee. In Maryland, we spend that a month in ceritification fee. We are Licensed Title Producers and not just notaries.
Our rates are much more here, try double that for email docs.

Re: Attention all independent Notary loan signing agents

Peggy FYI; the NNA does NOT set the fee standard. We all have our own set fees according to many factors. I hope you are paying at least 75.00 for overnight and 25-35 for e docs...and this IMO is till to low.....

I have always believed that the NNA is the biggest part of our problem with all this 50-65 nonsense. What BS....

And most important Peggy you should pay immediately when you receive the check from title/escrow. We are all SICK of the 30, 60, 90 day (if ever) BS. I hope you have enough capitol to run this new venture of 'lets get the notaries to do all the work for you' venture of yours....

This is completely unacceptable!!!!

"Providing we've received payment, you will."

Whether you receive payment or not, you will be the one who contracted with the signing agent and you are the one who has to pay them whether you get paid or not!

I suggest you rethink the whole idea of becoming a signing service until you have the capital to pay your contracted signing agents whether you get paid or not!

who falls for this stuff?

This lady, no matter how well intended, is just another fly by night. Whydon't you hire a professional to design your web site - why is your business being held up because of your son-in-law - who probably has much more important things on his mind now - such as keeping himself and his fellow troops alive until they all come home. How do you not know what your supposed client is paying per order - or perhaps you don't have a client yet. What a joke. Oh yes, I'll be the first - doing notaries ... oh my

She also said and I quote " We pay on the 15 and 30 of every month - PROVIDING that they pay me!!!! Key word "providing". Also, meaning she doesn't have the capital to pay us until they pay her. We will wait and wait till she's paid first. No deal.

Re: Won't walk next door for $65....

Where do you live and what is your base pay? I live in Oregon in a very rural area. I"m conducting a survey, Would love to know. Maybe I"m doing something wrong. The NNA suggests $65.00 base and that is what I"ve been getting. Most of my signings include edocs. and often additional mileage. . Sometime I get paid more when I work for title companys. Last night I did one that i was paid $150.00 to go to two locationsand print edocs. . One for signer/borrower. Second stop was to get his ex to sign a quit claim deed. You all can bash me all you want. I guess I type to fast. Anyone know how to erase a message.

Re: Attention all independent Notary loan signing agents

The spelling errors in her ad kind of remind me of those nigerian internet scam letters you get. They have millions of dollars someone left in a bank account, these people died in a plane crash ( the most popular form of dying it seems )and there are no heirs, so they want to share it with you. How nice of them.
