Nations Direct of Anaheim

I have gotten two calls from them this week. First they wanted me to drive 45 minutes one-way for $60. That just will buy me a tank of gas. Then yesterday they want me to do a signing in my city for $40 told them my fee. Said if could get it approved will call back. No call back, guess they found someone.

I keep asking Nations Direct to please take me out of their data base but lo and behold I get 3-5 calls a week offering me their ridiculously low prices.

Someone is obviously doing them......so call them and NOT me.....

They won't take me off of their list either.

I even tell them in very pointed (but polite) terms why I cannot afford to work for them, but they keep calling.

I haven't heard from them in a very long time (thankfully). But sadly, I'm sure that means that they have no shortage of people in my area that they can call who ARE willing to work for their meager fees. The XYZ probably keeps them supplied with a new crop as fast as the last ones fall out, once they figure out that either a) it isn't easy to get assignments, and/or b) the ones they get pay at a level that provides very little or no profit.
