Nations Signature Closers fees down to 65.00 edocs
Hello all I read the board everyday even though I don't usually post I cant help myself today I just received a call from NSC stateing as of last Friday they lowered there fee to 50.00 OND and 15 Edocs. I have been a closing agent for 7years and I can't imagine I'll be one much longer when the good companies start asking us to work for free I told them I can no longer work with them if they are only willing to pay these low numbers How can a person even think they are earning enough money to cover there expenses. I've dusted off my resume and I guess I'll start pounding the pavement next week Good luck to all

First, NSC has never been known for high fees. Second---just say No. Yes, it's painful to turn business down---but this isn't 'business', it's charity work. Eventually even the bean-counters have to figure out that it's better to pay the first time for experience than go for cheap and end up going back. Well, at least, one would hope they're bright enough to figure that out.

NSC in Kansas?
I just received an order from them today. It's for my standard fee (and my standard fee is NOT $50 and $15). I hope it's not true. After four years, I'd hate to lose them. But there's no way that anyone should work for that kind of offensive fee.

Well it beats the $60
email fee I turned down yesterday. Yup, Land Am -- $40 plus $20 for e-docs. "But Dorothy, It's ONLY 25 pages!"

LOL, I've gotten that a few times
NSC paid my normal fee last Friday. They've always met my fee. I was a little surprised to see this. I'm with Al, I hope they're not changing.
