  Need recommendation for new cell
I have a razor phone, lots of companies instead of calling to give me assignments, they email me, while I am at signings I can't check my emails, and lose business. I am thinking of investing for a new cell phone where I can read my emails and respond. Does anyone can recommend me a new cell phone with the capability of receiving and responding emails???? I would be appreciative, thank you very much in advance.

I have the 8525 from cingular. It is pretty good. It has a keyboard for making responses. It is also a pda. Very useful. Sprint has their own version...or you can go with a treo

I have a Blackberry & love it! Got it unlocked from Ebay & haven't had any problems, I did have to upgrade to T-mobile's blackberry service, but it's not much more than the T-Zones service I already had.

  Look at LG
I have mine through Verizon. It has a keyboard, text, wireless sync, camera and built in GPS. I'm glad I got it. I use the GPS ALL THE TIME. Even if it is to find my way OUT of a subdivision. Just plug in my home address and it will take me to the major roads, then I'm usually OK.

Mike, I looked and there is no model number on the case that I can see. It opens up to reveal the full keyboard, which allthough it's small is much better than trying to send from the number pad on the front. It's slim like my old phone and only slightly thicker. If you go into a Verizon store you can see it. If I can get over there today I'll try and get a model number for you.

  I have a Moto Q from Sprint.
It has all the features that you asked for, it's almost the same size as a Blackberry but cheaper than a Blackberry or Treo

With all due respect, I had a Moto Q and hated it. I hated it so much that I sent it back and went with a regular cell phone, LG VX8700 from Verizon. I love it because it's uber-slim and stainless steel clad, but it won't do exaclty what you're asking unless you have your emails autoforwarded by rule to your cell phone email address.
My advice is Blackberry or a Treo with Palm OS. Sprint carries them relatively inexpensive...my dad likes his Treo. They can do some amazing stuff too. He programmed his to change channels on my TV. They provide real-time email, unlike the Q that relies on downloading email at set time intervals. I had mine set to check email every 30 seconds, and the result was that it couldn't make it through a whole day without being recharged. Very frustrating, no excuse for that weak of a battery.

  Caution regarding the Treo
My daughter has had one for about eight months. The first one kept freezing up and doing I-don't-know-what-else, so they allowed her to trade it in for a new one. I know she had decided early on that she couldn't use the voice commands function without it freezing up. That feature was one of the reasons she had chosen that particular model.
She has more recently been complaining about the replacement unit dying on her all the time, and when last we spoke about it, she was on her way to get a Blackberry. Maybe it was just the battery was getting old and needed to be replaced, but she was fed up and done messing with it. (Even if the battery did need replacing, the unit wasn't old enough to justify it.)

  Re: Caution regarding the Treo
Yes, I've heard that about the Treo as well, but it's much more prevalent with the Treos that run Windows OS than Palm OS. The Windows operating system for PDA's has been panned for frequent freezing and crashing, but all of my nerdy friends still swear by the Treo with the Palm Operating System.
It's hard to go wrong with a Blackberry though...my best advice is to steer clear of the Moto Q. Overly complicated, AND has Windows OS. Typical Motorola.
