OT Life Savers

Subject: Life Savers

A bowl of Lifesavers

A teacher was doing a study testing the senses of first graders,
using a bowl of
Lifesavers.

The children began to say:

" Red............cherry,"

"Yellow.........lemon,"

"Green..........lime,"

"Orange.......orange,"

Finally the teacher gave them all honey Lifesavers.

After eating them none of the children could identify the taste.

"Well," he said, "I'll give you all a clue; It's what your mother
may sometimes call your father."

One little girl looked up in horror, spit her Lifesaver out and
yelled:

"Oh My God!!!! They're a$$holes!"

Look at the TOP of the list Dog(Breath)...there is a place

called "Leisure" where one can post OT things...there is even one where you can post OT Politic discussions (thanks to Harry)...THAT way, we don't waste the space here with USELESS information

JMHO...and if you don't get the reference to "Dogbreath"...then you are too d**n young!

"...and let's be careful out there!..."

I'm with you, Dog.

I could care less about what people are eating for breakfast. I'm not sure how well this Leisure forum is going to do. I know for darn sure, I won't be visiting the Politics forum.

I am glad for the new forums.

Sometimes I am stuck at the comptuer printing docs anyway, and I want to browse a little bit. I've seen everything on the Work forum, so maybe I can find something on the other ones.

I think that was meant as a gentle reminder

that there is a new Leisure forum available for these types of posts. Harry and crew made the effort to set the new forums up - we should probably start migrating these types of threads there.

Re: I think that was meant as a gentle reminder

I agree - and I'm glad they have been added. I think, though, that it's inevitable that it will take some time to adjust to the change - especially for those who have habitually just posted here. I don't think it should be too painful or difficult to give each other some slack while we adjust, but I predict that most will adjust pretty quickly.

I like the idea of being able to focus here when I just have a few minutes to catch up on anything new worth hearing about or going to the Leisure forum if I'm just wanting to chill or kill some time while printing or otherwise. (I'll go to Just Politics if I'm feeling argumentative... Wink)
