Platinum Signing Service

There were mixed reviews of this business. Does anyone have any recent information about them as far as payments?

There are threads in Signing Central for Platinum Signings in Maplewood, MN. Is this the one you mean? If so, the comments are good and they are very recent.

I have also worked for Platinum Signing Services, Inc in Maple Grove, MN. Not sure if they are the same. Jacy Quimby was with this one. Haven't heard from them in awhile, but the fee was good and she paid within 30 days. She was formerly with Coast to Coast Mobile Notaries in Minnesota, probably in 2005. Pay from them was also good and prompt.

Platinum Signing Service - They're the best!

They're located in Maple Grove, MN. Jacy, Ashley and Alex are who I deal with. They are closely affiliated with New Millennium Title Group, and in my experience, they have, without fail, paid on the 1st and 15th. The checks actually come from the TC.

Their CWs are easy; seldom are there fax backs; the size is usually right at 105-110 pages. The only drawback is the occasional late set of docs, but I don't see that as an issue with Platinum or New Millennium, but rather CW.

I'll take all I can get from them!

The owner of PSS asked me to use a copy of a drivers license to ID a signer. I refused and she got real b!tchy. The borrower said he was a notary, he did it all the time and I was being unreasonable. I had to wait weeks to get my measly print fee. I billed $50 and was paid only $25.

ID: Photocopy versus original

Why would any sensible Notary Signing Agent ever accept a photocopy of a driver's license or passport or any other ID?

There's no way that I would. If the borrower could make a photocopy, then they had the DL in their possession, right?

Debbie,

I've done business with 'em for 2-3 years.

Always meet my fee and pay like clockwork..always within 30 days.

I'll take all I can get.

This is the one out of the Twin Cities and is affiliated with New Millennium Title.

I like NewMill title because all of their docs are date-stamped. One less thing to have to worry about.
