Reporting to credit agencies
Anyone know how you can do this for deadbeat companies directly, without going through a collection agency? I believe the 3 major credit reporting agencies are for individuals only, not businesses - so the reports of late payments from companies would probably have to go through some company like D&B. There's got to be an easy way to do this, but I haven't found it yet. I just figured this might give me a little more leverage when trying to collect from the SLOW payers who aren't impressed by complaints filed with the BBB...

Re: Reporting to credit agencies! I prefer the 3 CRAs
I usually get results and some very upset people when I report. The report can be as simple as an e-mail or a FAX with the terms, the time seasoning of the obligation and the names of the perps. Its really simple.

Don't you need a social security number to report to the credit bureaus?

Nope, it helps tie it all intogether but corporations don't have SSNs and there are many others with bad credit who don't either.

Where do you report?
I've checked their web sites and can't find an option to (or any information on how to) report a bad debt. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places?
