Requesting comments/advise on a new form..
I found a new Correction Agreement/Limited Power of Attorney form in a National City Mortgage loan package.
The language has changed to read as follows:
State of.. County of.. This instrument was acknowledged before me on ___ by ___ and ______.
  Notary Public My Commission Expires:
This form appears to be neither/nither jurat or acknowledgement. How should this be handled in California? This form doesn't comply with the requirements for a Juret executed in California, and isn't a complete acknowledgement.
  Please comment.

Looks like an acknowledgment to me.
"This instrument was ACKNOWLEDGED befor me" would indicate an acknowledgment. Just attach a certificate that conforms to California requirements.

Looks like an acknowledgement to me...call the company that hired you for clarification -- that's always your best bet. Let them instruct you as to what they want or what the lender wants.

It's a complete acknowledgement in Minnesota! If it doesn't fly in CA, and that's where you are, substitute a CA-compliant ack.
