Respa Signing

I am doing a Respa signing later this afternoon and have found some of my answers doing searches. The only one I have not found is this:
Do these doc's get printed on letter or legal?

My confirmation says to return the docs in a letter UPS Envelope but that is all.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I print them on the size they were scanned. I assume the file is in .pdf format? I jsut had one & all the docs were scanned on legal, so that's what I printed on.

If you can print on letter, do so. Some docs are legal to begin with. One broker I work with send the docs upside down, making letter printing more difficult.

Also, they mean letter vs. floppy bag/pak -- not necessarily the size of the documents.

The docs did come in a pdf form.
Thanks for the clarification on the ups packages. I may have sent it wrong.

Thank you everyone for answering my questions so quickly.

Thank you for also not jumping all over me since I am new. I did do my search before asking though.

Re: Careful here - it depends on the company..

I worked for one company who was adamant that their App packages be printed on all letter. Did Respa's for others who needed legal....

Re: Careful here - it depends on the company..

I've had them, but strictly Legal. However, for South Land were only letter-size.

Re: Will someone clarify what "RESPA Closing" means.

The package I had only had about 50 pages to it. A lot of it was disclose statement and verification of the 1003.
There is no RTC, note, deed of trust in the package.

Re: Will someone clarify what "RESPA Closing" means.

It's a "RESPA Signing" and it's the initial application for the loan - you deliver and have signed all the initial disclosures/documents required to initiate the loan process. There usually are no notarizations involved (except one I had where an A/K/A Affidavit would be needed if applicable) - they're usually about 50 pages, as stated, and you're also usually required to collect the supporting documentation required by the lender/mortgage broker (i.e. bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, homeowners' insurance) - usually a 30-45 minute process if the borrowers have been consulted and have everything ready for you when you get there. This is where, if you don't have a mobile setup, a small portable copier is a Godsend...IMO

Hope this answers your questions.
