  Trans union
Received a call today for a signing next week, I was on the other line so I heard the message and since I had not worked with them before I looked at the website and checked out their rules and pay I could not believe it Standard notary fee is $46.00 !!! $25.00 trip fee. And a long list of rules and regulations.

TU used to be a great company to work with. In '04, '05 and the early part of '06 I did quite a bit of closings for them. (I have to tell ya, they had some of the sexiest male voices in the industry!) I really miss my TU business. They quit calling me after I did a closing for a notary here in town that undercut my fees. My Chase business, both 1st, 2nds and piggybacks seemed to come to a slow trickle in the later part of 2006 and a halt by 2007.
Chase used to comprise 80% of my business. Now, CW does. Is there anyone left? Scary times. Thank God for the HECM keeping me afloat.

I had about 80% Ameriquest when first started out. Then my SS decided to outsource and cut prices to catapult to their goals and fees slashed to SA and lost it overnight. Too many SA's, didn't even get another phone call after 1st refusal. Thankfully Chase became next 80% - how sweet it was. Plenty of other calls, just couldn't quite have meeting of the minds/time, etc and I could pick and choose! Great! Now I'm lost another 80%, and it is terrifying. Now I really pick and choose, can't afford to pay attention...and scared not to.
Well, when the going gets tough...

I used to work for them too. The good thing is they did always pay like clockwork.
