I just received a call to translate a lease agreement from Puerto Rico. No Prob except I don't know how much to charge. Any ideas? I am currently searching for info, but need current rates.

Thanks in advance.

in the law offices I have been associated with they charged a flat fee and on top of that an hourly fee and a mileage fee..........otherwise you can be there a long time if you do not charge accordingly as some have found..........

A copy of the docs are being emailed to me and then I will either email them or drop them off. Do you have any idea how much the law office charges? I just need an idea of the going rates.

no idea... we used most that the end charge was minimum 150

and that was a few years back.

you have to charge what you think your time is worth

Recently, I translated several pages for a lawyer and I got $160. However, I am certified by LAUSD. I don't know how much he charged.
