sign on the x(sox)

I have commented before about sox beating me for $1200.00. The oldest invoices are now 11 months old. The collection agency related to NNA, has accomplised nothing. By the way, sox has been playing with me, for the last 60 days. They call me and make excuses. It is all over. I know their rep is known by most. Just a comment to anyone who is considering doing business with them.

If it were me, I'd be taking them to small claims

You might want to do a search, you don't have be in the same state to litigate.

Re: If it were me, I'd be taking them to small claims

I agree you should take them to small claims court. That's a substantial amount of money and if they ever file bankruptcy, you'd probably be added to a long list of creditors. Take some action now against them.

Oops: too fast w/the fingers

Re: I don't know of anybody who has collected w/o labbb.org, but I am so tired of posting this and people not doing anything but asking for a pity party. Do the Orange button Search folks - then read the posts and take heed. Most all successes are through LABBB, why would yours be any different? For some reason they can't stand being reported there and get off their duffs and pay within the week.

Oh, they can stand being reported - -

because I did so with LABBB and the AG. These people weren't scared of anything. The only thing that helped me was to write to the lender and settlement agent and pretty much scream.

Re: Oh, they can stand being reported - -

I got paid after LABBB complaint. They also told me they would sue me for slander if I didn't stop bashing them on the fourms. That's been over a year ago and haven't heard a thing.

slander

A type of defamation. Slander is an untruthful oral (spoken) statement about a person that harms the person's reputation or standing in the community. Because slander is a tort (a civil wrong), the injured person can bring a lawsuit against the person who made the false statement. If the statement is made via broadcast media -- for example, over the radio or on TV -- it is considered libel, rather than slander, because the statement has the potential to reach a very wide audience.

"person who made the false statement" If you are stating the truth, have them sue you!

I just told her to bring it on - I'm ready and I bet you run out of cash before I do and hung up the phone.

Re: Oh, they can stand being reported - -

Thanks for the postings. I accepted a signing from them today under "Sign on the X", not realizing it was SOX until the confirmation came. I checked this site hoping they had straightened out, but called and cancelled my signing and told them that I won't work for free!

Sorry you guys lost money, but I appreciate the warning!

Candy

Small Claims Court gets you a judgement/lien... it doesn't

get you the cash. You still have hoops to jump thru to do that. Varies by your state/their state as to what you still need to do. But BBB does work. I know. Been there/done that. 75 days from signing to cash because I got on their case immediately. Still banging head against wall for taking it--but that's another story.
