Debbie, I just linked your message to their info in Signing Central. I have never worked for them - I have read mixed reviews about them so unfortunately I cannot help you with any feedback.

Debbie, I did a signing for them in July and payment from them is coming due so I dont know any G/B/U info for you. On another note, I wasnt really fond of their "deductions to payment" list. Some of it I could understand but I think they went overboard with the list. It struck me as they work with a lot of inexperienced notaries and they need to be hand held.

Ive completed about 4 closings for them. They are definitely net 30 to 45, but they do pay. They have low balled me a few times. It seems to be dependant on who calls you. There is one guy who offers ridiculous compensation. Stand firm with them though.

Thanks, This time they seem to want to pay. I don't think they have anyone in the area on the eastern shore. lol. So we will see how it goes

I haven't worked with them for a year or so (they didn't have much work in the Las Vegas area), but Liz has always been a great person to work for/with. I met her at their office in Mission Viejo a few years back. SO, I don't have any recent experience to report (Liz, if you are reading this...call or write)...but based on past experience would work for them again.

Liz is definitely NOT a great person
She's shown her true colors on this board many times

Closed 1 loan for them and have no desire to ever do another one. My experience with them was that they bugged me too much. Also expected me to sign a contract. Don't think so. Check them out on Notary Beware. Newbies should latch onto this co. They pay newbie rates and will hold your hand from beginning to end.

Re: Liz is definitely NOT a great person
Is this the same Liz who was with the edocs outfit -- I've forgotten its actual name -- a couple of years ago who got into spitting contest on NotRot with virtually every signing agent who had ever worked with her? If so, she's toxic, arrogant, perfidious, avaricious and malicious. And she probably pulls wings off of butterflies caught in signing agents' gardens.

I completed a signing for them in June. The pay was reasonable and they paid within 45 days. This is the only assignment I have completed for them.

I don't understand
why people post this way? "Reasonable". Why not say I received an order for a 150 page e-doc loan and also made borrower copies. I drove 1/2 hour each direction. We agreed upon $45/$225/whatever.
People say they don't want their competition undercutting them. Well guess what, you are being undercut every day by someone out there.

The notary biz
I've done work for them for about 4 years now and they have always paid me fair fees, (minimum of $100). - Paid the June one within 30 days. No problems. They even called me a couple months ago to let me know I had compliments from one of the borrower's and thanked me. Could be that here in Maine there aren't too many experienced signing agents around and they want to keep the ones they know and are sure will do the job properly.

Signed 5/12 (ended up being edocs & 1st/2nd) - paid 6/20 for original agreed upon fee. Received additional fee on 7/2 for edocs & 2nd). Only worked for them once, so that's all the history I have to go on.
