Always Have Your Marketing Hat On!
I was working out at my gym today in Riverside CA and a tennis friend I hadn't seened in a couple of yearsrecognized me and then we caught up with each other.
I asked her where she was working and it turns out she is an escrow officer in a local company in Riverside. This is a change of profession since I played tennis with her.
You just never know when you will meet a "lead."
She said: mail over my business cards and I did this today.
I would have gotten some business cards that instant but both of us were in gym clothes without any pockets.
Always mention you are a notary.
I also had a tee shirt on with my logo and telephone number.

You're absolutely right Joan! I was shopping at a dollar store day before yesterday and ran into a lady I knew back when the kids were younger -- not a friend exactly, but we talked during many ball games. I learned that she was a real estate agent and when I told her what I was doing she had a load of leads to give me locally. Sometimes I think we can get so caught up with Internet marketing we can overlook the opportunities right here in our own back yards! I didn't have pen and paper or business cards on me at the time as I was in a rush and not anticipating doing any marketing; but I'll be getting back with her and following all the great leads she offered asap! Never be caught off guard is my new motto!
