Joanne,
You gotta be the luckiest person on earth:
1. I don't generally turn the computer on on Saturday's ..much less after 3pm.
2. You found somebody home and not out shopping
3. You found somebody not all liquored up
4. You found somebody who's not afraid to go on the fourm and is computer literate
5. You found somebody who normally doesn't keep passwords..BUT KEPT THIS ONE FOR SOME REASON.
6. I had the same problem once..maybe that's the reason I kept it..and yes, it was equity out of Providence, RI
Hope this works:
equity@1nce! (equity at the number 1--nce-explanation point)
Merry Christmas

You're welcome.
Does my heart good that I can help somebody out this late in the Xmas season.

PS...
This may come to late...but Equity wants the borrower(s) to initial every doc that they don't sign or otherwise initial.
I think that's overkill...but it doesn't matter what I think..they're paying the freight.

I do tons of closings for Equity. I have never had them
initia eachl doc that isn't specified by lines and says initials. They have never questioned me on it. They do have 2 mortgages and 2 Notes to sign.

So, Linda, do you ignore those instructions that say "initial every page" or do your instructions
not have that little kicker?

I do many for them. Never have them initial pages unless
there is a place for it...Yes, it is always requested, but I think they mean that they want you to have them initial where indicated... not sure but I certainly don't do it and I have never had a complaint. They are a great company

Janet,
I'm not trying to condemn anybody. I'm just wondering if I'm doing much more than I need to.

I was told specifically that they want EVERY pg that doesn't req a sig to be initialed.

Re: I do tons of closings for Equity. I have never had them
I do the same thing Janet does. Have them inital the pages that have the lines only. In 2 years, this has never been an issue. The instructions mean to inital each page that initials are required, NOT every page.

I have one of my regular client's that also will request to have every page without a signature to be initialed. It just lets them know that the client acknowledges they have seen this page.

Not to ruin your Christmas gift to Joanne
But you shouldn't post a company's password on a public forum. You should ask for an e-mail and send it privately.

I was thinking the very same thing. I was going to PM
with the password, but before I got a chance it was posted publicly. I work a lot for them and will inform them that they may need to look into changing it now. I'm sure they didn't appreciate this.
