Linda That is one thing I don't miss - the four letter word (s n o w)
I love Florida year round - except sometimes in Hurricane Season.

Re: I don't miss the snow one bit...
Just hard to get into the Christmas spirit in 80 degree weather (at least for me)

Re: I don't miss the snow one bit...
I am more into the Christmas spirit this last couple of years than I had been for a while. (Maybe something to do with my almost dying in 2006 makes me appreciate things more)
I actually sent cards out the beginning of the month, although I still have to send some more out. Got nearly all the presents (did my shopping online at the BX and other places, just waiting for the back ordered ones to get here. Got the ones that have arrived all wrapped and under the tree. Got a nice clock that plays Christmas carols on the hour. Bruce has most of the decorations up. It feels a lot like Christmas here

Wait until next week!
No snow, but rain and colder temps. You'll be below freezing soon enough and wishing for the record breaking heat we had just before Christmas.

Perspective - persons were laughing at us in our summer
cloths in Tennessee in January when the temperature was 62. They were wearing think winter coats while we were in short sleeve shirts...

Had a call for a 1pm today, yesterday. She had to check with her supervisor about my fee. You know the end of that story. So now I get to sit inside and watch the pretty snow coming down while someone else slip slides away. The signing was in a valley town with two HUGE hills the only way out.

Just the beginning for SReis and me
For Vermont, from National Weather Service (but western MA usually gets similar weather):
> A SIGNIFICANT SNOWSTORM APPEARS INCREASINGLY LIKELY BEGINNING > LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH MUCH OF SUNDAY. A > CLASSIC NOR`EASTER IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP...
