New Ess Esses

Why is it, at a time when failed signing services, title companies and even lenders are as numerous as unindicted coconspirators, new signing services keep cropping up? What makes this a time when anyone would launch such a business? What am I missing here?

It's probably the same people that closed down an old SS under a different name leaving many notaries unpaid - time to start up a new one since no one will work for the old one!

Good grief, these posts from Hugh are beginning to look a lot like Jahari's use to. Every post having his underlying political belief inserted. Save your crap for the political board Hugh.

Oh please. These don't even come close to Jahari's.
I, respectfully, request that you lighten up and let someone play board police.

I was merely pointing out that Hugh's post would have gotten the same point across without having to insert "unidicted cocospirator's ". I did not say he was on a par with Jahari, I was only pointing out he was trying to incite using that phrase. I, respectfully, ask you Dave, is that o.k.?

You're so far off base you're playing shuffleboard on a baseball diamond, WD40.

What I actually had in mind was the mortgage crisis. But, if you feel it is more appliable to those of your political persuasion, so be it. Just remember that it was you, not I, who made the connection.

My apologies Hugh for making the wrong connection.

I do try to confine my polemics to "Just Politics." There, of course, I don't confine much of anything.

Re: I have been wondering the same thing...

Same here, many recent calls have been from companies I never heard of before. I am asking lots of questions of them. ie; business name, address, their name and contact info, owners name, how long in business, any previous business names, policies on payment, why should I work with them? It may sound paranoid to them, so many questions, but what else can you do? If they don't want to comply and answer, why should I trust them to do what they say they will? Just because they say, yeh sure, we pay you etc..from a stranger on the other end of the phone? People will say anything. I am reformatting my worksheet that I use when I get a call, to include all this sort of data now.
