Reeves Hary Signing Pro-Non Payment
Anyone having trouble getting paid from Signing Pro? They owe me money from September. Said they would send a check weeks ago-- nothing. I called they said they haven't been paid by title company. So....?? Anyone else?

I did, and they said about 10 days ago, they had received a very large invoice from Signing Pro. But, aren't they an established company? Shouldn't they have money to pay the notaries on time? It takes them over 45 days to pay me anyway-- now it is over 70. I used to think they were OK to work for... Took too long to receive payment-- But now I'm beginning to think they are going down hill fast. I'm not taking signings from them anymore. What do you think?

I did a reverse mortgage 9/13/07 & was paid 10/27/07, so no problem here.

Seems to be one of those companies where you have to jump thru their hoops in the right order to get paid. No info on CO as to 'how they want to be invoiced'. (Tho, I did--apparently due to e-mailed or included in pkg. instructions--fax their CO back w/Tracking Info--which I did think was sufficient to get paid...NOT.) After a while and no check, I dug out the 'contract'--which states you can Invoice at their website within 24 hours of appt. OR fax Invoice. However, as I just discovered, the fax # on the CO and the Contract is not the 'best' one to use as it goes into someone's e-mail--along with all new notary sign-ups, etc.

Call them up and tell them they are in violation of their
contract. Payment is on a 45 day cycle. There is no caveat that says they must be paid, for you to be paid. Any company who does not have in their business model the basic mechanism to fund their own payables, is not in business. They are a accident waiting to happen. Besides their low fees, that is the main reason I don't do work for them any more. Just call your phone company up today and say you can't pay the bill because you have not been paid. See how long it takes them to dissconnect you service

Re: Call them up and tell them they are in violation of their
I have done many last 3 months. All are being paid 60 days.

If 60 days is acceptable to you, fine
But their contract says 45 days. Two months is not and acceptable time frame for turning over your recievables. 60 days and 75 dollars for reverse mortgages sounds like slow death to me. And one last thing, since they have no capital to finance their recieveables, what happens when someone stops paying them, or bankrupts out. They stiff YOU, throw up their hands, and say "its not our fault." Seen too many of the same scenarios over the years. At some point you have to say, fool me once, shame on YOU, fool me twice SHAM ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slow Pay-- But used to pay
They have always paid me-- slow pay, but this is my first experience with no payment. I thought they were very well established. They give the impression of a BIG company. They demand order and have plenty of rules. I guess it's just a big bluff. They must not be in any better shape than so many others.
