Sending gifts to Signing Companies

In dealing with big signing companies - do you advise sending gifts to Scheduling Team or Escrow team.
I am thinking of sending some cookies/popcorn from POPCORN FACTORY - but I was wondering what is best. I saw a note from a fellow that gifts upto 25 dollars can be written of as expenses.
Any suggestions are welcome.

It took 2 monthe to get paid from this company. Has any one else had this problem?

In the past I always take care of the schedulers. My best clients I will buy them lunch once a year.

A good choice is a $25 Starbuck card. If they don't drink coffee they can pass the card on to someone who does.

Another good choice is a couple of movie tickets.

This is just good marketing, in my opinion, and I have had great success over the last 5 years giving a little something as a thank you during the holidays.

Every loan package I send back I include a couple of pieces of hard candies I buy in bulk from Wal Mart or Target.

My thoughts are never send back an empty package. At the minimum include 4 business cards so they can be passed around the office!!

I used to send Harry and Davids to the Schedulers and Processors but this got too expensive so I've learned to go to Harry and Davids and buy individual boxes of goodies and mail the stuff myself it's half the price and worth every penny.

Another good choice is to remember RESPA and limit your gift to simple promotional items showing your logo.
