Has anyone had any problems getting paid by Pacific Dox out of San Degio, CA?
I did a notary for them in early October this year, still no payment has been received.
They do not answer the phone or any emails.

Pacific Dox - I had to lean on them a bit, but did get paid

Very nice ladies, but not so much for timely payment.

I accepted, a small (one document) job, and ran out quickly to get it done. When I returned I realized I had misspelled their name in my search on NR, and saw the not-so-positive comments. Therefore, I made my invoice due in 15 days, and when payment wasn't received in 30, I started my demands for payment. I threatened to post about my experience on the forums, and received a promise of a check being sent. When the anticipated date passed but the check hadn't been received, I renewed my threat to post if I didn't receive a PayPal payment by noon the next day. I did receive that payment, and then the check they promised came a day or two later. It was postmarked two days later than the date I had been advised it would be mailed.

If you didn't inform them of your intention to post your experience on the forums BEFORE going public, you might consider that the next time (if there is one) that you have such an issue. That has worked for me a couple of times.

Good luck!

Signing on 3/31/08. Paid prompltly on 4/21/2008. Spoke to Alissa Thomas about reservations due to negative postings regarding payment issues when she called. She assured me that the gentleman who was handling payment is no longer with Pacific Dox. Took a chance and was paid promtly. No issues. Thank you Alissa.

Pacific Dox HAS NOT paid my fee from a closing on May 3. I printed all the docs - more than 300 pages - drove 30 miles to BO's house, and borrower refused to sign because she said she never received any info from the lender about rates, etc.
I contacted Alissa Thomas, who apoligized profusely and GUARANTEED me I would be paid. It is now July 31 and I still have not received payment. I have e-mailed, called and sent snail mail to Pacific Dox, and all have been ignored.
Whomever said that Pacific Dox was a good co and they were paid is lying. The poster is probably an employee of Pacific Dox.
Check out Notary Beware and see the negative info posted there IN ADDITION TO the negative info posted here - except for the one poster who said they were paid.
Shame on you Alissa. I hope you read this.
