Sign on the X (SOX)

Called tonight-offered $65.00 for Edocs. Call lasted less than 30 seconds. I feel sorry for the person that accepted the order.

Not yet but should be. They owe a friend of mine a lot of money yet they keep calling him to do jobs. They always act suprised. I know they watch for new notaries. When my husband got his notary and TPL he started getting phone calls from them. Just how do you put thse kind of companies out of business?

I had work for sign on the X and they use to pay on time all the time, I needed to build my skill and my company. Than one day they stop pay and it took me about four months after it was due to me. They don't call now and they know why, I even got a collect office to see if they could make them pay. Not a good peole to work for.

This past June, when I first started notarizing loan signings, I did one for SOX for $85. That was before I heard of Notary Rotary. I took the job for $85, because I needed experience. I guess I'm lucky, because I got paid.

There's another one: "Sign On the X Signing Service" in FL

I've received 2 calls recently from SOX but last week I received one from "Sign on the X Signing Service" in FL. These guys are a different/new signing service. The gal's name is Missy. I explained my hesitation in working with any company with and "X" in their name. She explained that she probably picked the wrong name for her co. She constantly gets confused with the bad SOX & how many hang ups she gets. She made sure I was named on the HUD. They were great to work with! I would not have taken the job if I wasn't added on the HUD.

How unfortunate to have a similar name. She ought to change it. Now watch the bad SOX, lie and say they are from Florida...if you get called be sure to check the area code.

A signing service calling you but you being listed on the HUD? That doesn't make sense. Either way, $65.00 no matter who the company is, just doesn't cut it. I will save $$ by staying home.
