Ticks me off
We're supposed to be professional at all times, right???? I get a handwritten confirmation that I cannot read the borrowers last name. When I called the borrower to confirm, I apologized profusley (sp) that I cannot read her last name and call her Mrs. xx. I had to call her by her first name. I'm also to call the LO after the closing to give him an update and I can't read his number either. This confirmation is so very sloppy, I almost called and declined it just because of that. Just ticks me off that we're supposed to be neat, accurate, punctual, don't make a mistake, kiss my b*** and I get something like this. Just venting. Thanks

When this happens, when I can't tell if a number is a 6,3, or 8 I try anywho.com. If I can read the last name or the phone #, I can get the other most of the time.

If an order is that bad, their bookkeeping is probably too. Hopefully not!!

What did they do - write it out and fax it to you? Hope their accounting practices aren't that informal...
I had one last week where the address on the confirmation was wrong. Luckily, the signing was during the day, so I could at least see the numbers on the houses. The address I was given didn't exist; the number on the confirmation was 536, and the house numbers suddenly jumped from 524 to 548 with nothing in between. Did a U-turn and another pass to make sure I was seeing it right, then pulled the mortgage out of the file. The house address was actually 563 - a block further down, and on the other side of the street.
I guess I was lucky that there was no 536 - imagine showing up at the wrong door and all the confusion that would involve?
