Tis time to buy new socks

It's often snowy and slushy out now so many times we'll follow the borrower's lead and take our shoes off as we enter their home. Lo and behold this time I forgot I wore socks with tiny holes in them..figured they were hidden by my shoes anyway...but only if I kept them on!

Goin' shoppin' for socks now.

I find that new socks really fill up the Christmas stockings fast!

I got her the Potluck, Jester, and Green/Blue Squiggles.

They're ~perfect~ for her...

Okay...this must be a West Coast thing...I love those socks, snazzy, stylish...love 'em...but I just can't see me ever paying $28 for a pair of socks. You're a fabulous MIL, Susan Fischer!

(I gritch about the socks prices...but he, he, he... I just picked up a 9 lb. Honey Baked Ham and delivered to my DIL on my way home from work...to have all to herself...she loves HBH. If she shares with her hubby...no cooking for her for a few days!)

You're pretty fab there, yourself, MIL. Yummmy-

but, enough about you. he he he

I just couldn't say "I never saw those." Had to get 'em. The ones ~I~ wanted are on backorder, of course.

I opened the box, and it was all I could do not to PUT THEM ALL ON... Besides, she'd ~never~ spend the pennies, so, what the heck. Son is a way different story - so it's the cash thing.

Have some Merry!

And THOSE are the very best kind of presents. Good for you, Susan!

~You~ gave me a great Idea! (Gary, how far is Freedom from

Santa Cruz? My Brother, Chris Cousineau, has been playing at the Catalyst and around. Groovy reviews.)

I'm thinking a big. sliced, HDH for my Brother' busy house. How perfect is that? His oven went out, and it's an *old* 21" stove. We're on Pete's list to 'make the new one fit', and we're Christmas Close - wohoo!

Anyhoo, I'm Googling HDH in Santa Cruz, What a great idea, Bren.

Merry everything.

If you don't want to shop around for a sale go to a Dollar Store.... check it out. Some have nice trouser socks!
