Title Stream- Matt Blackmon
I have done business with Title Steam, mainly Matt and Nacoma. I must admit, I was shocked to see the bad reputation they have had. I have had nothing less that superb dealings with them! Paid in a timely manner and always returning my calls when I have had a question. Just wanted to get some good out there for them. Things must be turning around!

Let's hope that '08 is better for everyone - notaries, signing and title companies included. It has been the exception this year to hear about a good paying company. That's great that you had a good experience

Yeah they have been good to me. But right now they owe me some money and it's over 45 days right now. They have paid in the past, but now they are not answering my calls or emails. I've usually been paid in 30 days so we'll see. I hope things don't turn sour for them with me because i really liked Matt and Nacoma!

Allison, thanks for keeping us in the loop. I've been hearing good things but who knows what's going to happen now that they are one of the biggest national providers of RM title work...assuming Alliance/All Reverse is, as rumored, going down.

ART
Alliance/ART was bought by LFC awhile back, ART has not been Alliance for quite some time. I used to work with a gal at Placer Title/NCS that went over to ART. As I understand, LFC is still strong even though they bought Mercury and (I think) are closing the CO office. (We will miss you Becky!) ART is moving their Roseville office again next week, so watch those package return instructions.
I haven't worked for TSS since last year...it took almost 90 days to get paid and that was after many phone calls and emails. ART has been very good to me and other network members. I just wish all of the ART EOs called NSAs direct. Unfortunately, some EOs still insist on using SSs.

As Becca said, ART is a part of LFC and parted with Alliance quite some time ago. When I heard the news about Alliance, I inquired with both my Alliance contacts and ART contacts. I was assured that ART/LFC is doing fine and will not be closing their doors.
Alliance is a different manner. Yes, "Alliance" closed their doors. Most of the offices have been bought out by other companies and/or their staffs have relocated with other offices. Alliance may have gone away, but the work they did remains, just with other companies.

The last time they were late with me, I sent Nacoma a paypal invoice. Of course, I understood that she could not pay me via paypal, but I did get a response and was paid shortly thereafter.
