Trancontinental Title Co. Clearwater FL.

I closed quite a few loans for this company in the past but haven't heard from them in the last month or so. Also had a no close situation back in Oct, which they haven't paid for as of yet having notified them about 4 weeks ago on this matter. Are they still a strong and viable company? They have been a great company to work with.

I think that they are still doing well. I just did 2 last month for them and my contact seems like business as usual.

I haven't heard from them in months and wondered the same thing. I loved working for them. I hope they are not in trouble. I really think lenders target certain areas which means its busy in some areas and slow in others. Comes in cycles.

I've read this same basic comment for years and it makes no sense to me at all. There are thousands of lenders out there and they all don't market the same area at the same time. If you have a broad enough customer base, the work flow remains relatively even with peaks from those marketing in your area at a certain time. I think everyone would be VERY surprised if they went to their local recorders office and checked out how many mortgages get recorded monthly.

But sue, that would require leaving the keyboard. I'll wager five percent (or less) of people doing this business ever consider doing it.

You know...parking...walking...learning how to read the index...not nearly as easy as taking signing service appointments for next to nothing.

I have done a few for TCT in the last month, but things are slow. They have always paid, however, if it does not close it takes longer to get paid than usual. Keep reminding them.

It's slow for them like everyone else. They've laid off lots of people and closed offices.
