I have never worked for them, but this is what I have on my list (info gathered from other posts):
Vital Signings (lots of hand-holding; faxbacks; must use re-usable envelope to ship Transcon pkgs or $25 penalty)

Some hand holding and the envelope thing is kind of silly (although it's the title company that wants it that way)
But the important thing to know is that they DO pay

Really nice people to work with - the hand-holding is murder. But they used to pay 2x a month, I think - excellent a/p department.

This is a great company for new Signing Agents. Lots of hand holding, lots of fax backs, they have someone available from 5A to Midnight if you have any questions!!! The staff that answers questions, are notaries in CA.
And they do pay. That TransContinental thing about the envelope belongs to TransCon, not Vital Signings.
They are strictly a $50 Company with $25 for e-docs though.

Vital has paid me from $85-$125 for closings. If you are knowledgable, firm on your price and there is no one cheaper, they will pay and pay on time.

And they REALLY DO have after hours help. Sometimes I am driving home at 10:30, and they call to see if I closed. It's nice to know they are available when there are problems late at night. I don't care about the hand holding. For me, it's better than everyone just sending me docs, then they all take the rest of the night off.

They have always met my fee too. Except once in about September, when things signing activity was dead as a doornail. I passed, they moved on - but scheduler was very courteous about it.

They drove me nuts with their nagging phone calls after I would take assignments from them. I would call and report the closing was completed and then get 3 or 4 calls from different people asking if the closing was done. No communication between their departments. I finally just quit doing their closings. But they always paid on time.

I would never do a signing for Vital Signings. Very low pay and non-happy "borrowing" situations is what I have always experienced.
