Website Builder software
Has anyone used Ewisoft Website Builder software? Seems to be reasonally priced and simple to use.
Or does anyone know of a website builder software that is like working in word and one that you don't have to use their host in order to use the software?
Thanks!

Website Builder software: Do you really need it?
You _can_ use Micro$oft's Word to build a Web Page. It will be Internet Explorer-centered, and may not be fully compatible with other browsers, but it will be fully functional.
You could also buy a book ( "HTML 4 for Dummies" is one I'd personally recommend) and learn the basics of hand-coding HTML. If you'd like help please send a Private Message to me and we'll chat.

OpenOffice.org has a free software suite which
creates html like MS Word does...but I suspect that the viewing source feature of the coded pages won't reveal a bunch of MS garbage coded into the page. Don't know that for sure but just a guess.

Database, "Power Point" type creator, spreadsheet, word processor, math, draw, PDF maker...all for free and it emulates 2003 MS products. Don't know about 2007. 2007 doesn't even work with it's own 2003.

I use one called Web Studio. It's simple enough, comes with a 30 free trial. You can use other hosting services or use one that they sponsor.

Try Freewebs.com
I built my website at http://www.freewebs.com it's really easy, no html necessary. It's a great place to get started.

If you want something very easy to use, try Microsoft Frontpage. It normally comes bundled with Microsoft Office. I use Macromedia Dreamweaver, it's a bit more complicated.
