This may sound really stupid. When you get the edocs and print and do the witness closing, what do you do with the email. Delete immediately or wait a while. I am always reluctant to get rid of email.

I would wait for a few days after the closing - just in case they claim a document wasn't signed that you know wasn't in the package.

Good question....I would love to know what others are doing???? I keep them in Outlook- I am the only with access to my computer/ password protected and it is in my home office. I guess that if someone broke into my house- and stole my computer- then we may have a probelm if they cracked my password protection. Sometimes I have to reprint a doc or 2- sometimes something does not print off right....and I know that I have them to reference back to. The best way if for the company to use a secure link- I think that they only have access to them for a window of time. That is what I perfer- all in one- and you dont have to worry about all the attachments and getting them printed off.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how long to keep them. I also wondered about putting them in a folder on the computer, but I guess that would be keeping them too long.

I do not save them to my computer at all. Only keep them in my email until I am paid then delete.

Mamie, I move mine to a folder in my email for a few days, then delete. Good question!
