time to vent

got a call for a signing yesterday, received the email, printed all attachments, in a hurry to get there on time.start to go through the signing, discover that alot of the docs for 1st aren't there. Call SS, she figures out that she never sent them. Borrower doesnt want to sign the missing ones last night, but I explained the situation to her after I heard SS tell her that we would have to back date if she signed today. Finished signing last night, had to fax 27 pages long distance (no toll free) and wait for approval. Called SS half way through the day because I never heard from her. Claims she emailed info to me but anyway she emailed it again. Now she expects me to go make copies and more copies for a split package.

I have had one like that a while age. I was also leaving town the next day. I was paid a second trip fee full signing price which was nice. Hope you asked for one.

I experienced similar situation not long ago when coordinating a signing docs to be received less then 1 hour of the estimate delivery time. I have to call for a quick and effective resolution to work around my schedule.

Were you made aware of this when you accepted the signing? If so, I don't know what there is to vent about, I'm assuming you charged accordingly. If not, then I hope you called them back to adjust your fee accordingly.
