Background Checks

Just curious as to how many have actually paid for a background check. I'm still getting business from most of the companies that the NNA Association said they were working with on background checks. A background check is never mentioned.

I have not had one title company or signing service even mention a background check. Still getting the same amount of business as always.

It seems this is an issue when signing up with new companies-- it looks like one of the requirements for most of them is to have an NNA cert/background check. Has that been the experience of most everyone?

My two largest clients required it for all of their signing agents. I when through NNA's background check. It took 5 minutes to fill in the form and got the results back a couple of weeks later. Since then, I haven't had any one ask for it.
