CMD Notary
I owe CMD Mobile Notary a HUGE apology and would like to offer that apology to both CMD Mobile Notary at this time, as well as to any and all members of NotaryRotary who may have formed a negative attitude toward CMD Notary due to my inquiry, an inquiry that I actually forgot making. Had I remembered making the inquiry, I would have corrected it before now. Two things were true about that entire incident. First, it was the first time I had ever put an inquiry into the "Notary Talk" section of Notary Rotary, and second, I only did so (put in the inquiry) because it was the FIRST time that I had ever found myself in a situation where I did not think I was going to be paid only because the borrower stopped the signing midway through the signing. Having worked for CMD Mobile Notary before, it seemed to me that so much more time had passed between the signing date and when I usually received payment, that I thought/assumed perhaps I was not going to be paid because the borrower had stopped the signing. Since this (a halted signing) had never happened to me before, I imagine I was a little more over-sensitized to the thought that I might not get paid for that reason. I did indeed go onto NotaryRotary and wrote a blurb about the incident, with the hope that I might receive some input about how to handle the situation since as mentioned this was uncharted territory for me. But even doing that was foolish of me because after I wrote the inquiry, (again this was the first time I had ever entered an inquiry on NotaryRotary), I never really understood how I was to receive any input I might have been offered. I tried to figure it out when I was on this site once by trying to follow some other notary entry's that seemed to have follow up replies, but must honestly admit, being my first time, I was not really sure of how I would receive any input back. For that reason, even after putting in the inquiry, I have to admit, I never went back to NotaryRotary to see if I had received any replies, since as I have mentioned several times already, this was all new to me. For all I knew, I even thought that any replies might be sent to my email address. So just know, the shame of it all is if I did receive any feedback, I NEVER SAW ANY! The situation was eventually resolved after I wrote an email to CMD Mobile Notary, and followed up with a phone call, and was told that it would be taken care of. Probably within 10 business days of my contacting CMD over the issue, I received a check from CMD Mobile Notary for that assignment. But I must admit, since I only ever went on "Notary Talk" that one time and put my comments in, it was a shame and UNFAIR to CMD Mobile Notary because not only did I never go back to see if any replies were sent to me, I never went back as I should have and reported that CMD took care of my getting paid for the assignment, once I contacted them about it. Both Carmen of CMD and Michael of CMD have ALWAYS been very FAIR with me, and have always treated me with respect and professionalism. Therefore in closing, it is my sincere hope that any of you who may have seen my inquiry KNOW that the issue was resolved by just an email and a phone call, and it was unfair of me to even have put the inquiry in to Notary Talk if I wasn't going to go back to check for any replies as I did not. Once again, my most sincere APOLOGIES go out to CMD Mobile Notary for any problems that may have arose out of my stupidity. If they never call me again for any signing assignments, I would completely understand and in fact, would not blame them if that is what they choose to do. I sincerely hope I have settled the issue with CMD Mobile Notary so as not to tarnish their reputation since they are a very understanding and flexible signing company and are wonderful to do assignments for.

Re: CMD Notary...Well Said Sir, by coming forth even at this
late date, you have shown your integrity and ethical bearing by re-stating your error, correcting your error and (something not generally done these days) OWNING UP to your error in public. You are a mensch (human being, a person of good report), and will do well with your future. Good luck to you and yours.
